Brad Benson was born December 16, 1978 and was raised in Dallas, Texas. He has a diverse background. He has operated a tourism business at Denali National Park, Alaska and remains active in a family movie theater and family entertainment center business in Texas. He has been a firefighter and EMT since 2002 and is a lifetime member of the Granbury Volunteer Fire Department in Granbury, Texas. He also served on the Tri Valley Fire Department in Healy, Alaska. He is a certified fire investigator and works as a part-time deputy fire marshal for Hood County, Texas. He has been on the Board of Directors for Golden Valley Electric Cooperative in Fairbanks, Alaska. Brad is a commercial pilot and flight instructor, and spent many years flying small planes in Alaska. His full time residence is Granbury, Texas, where he is running in a 2023 election for Granbury City Council.
