Little Pierre and Selene (Fairytale)[edit]
Little Pierre and Selene is a fairytale that was self published in June 2020 from newcomer writer George Yiangou,
who comes from a small island in the Mediterranean Sea, Cyprus. Granted by the local government, the license
to be provided in schools, the fairytale has as a main theme the motto "Never Stop Trying" and is appropriate
mostly for ages 6-10.
Premise:
Pierre, in a world where it is always night, is determined to reach the moon in order to free Selene. Doubts,
mockery and faith are the elements that create a fairytale, which teaches the young and reminds the adults
that effort is very important in life.
Publication:
It has been published in Cyprus in both Greek and English language and exists as an eBook in Smashwords.
