About me
[edit]I am a American-born Chinese of Wu-speaking Chinese descent (Ethnic Han Chinese from Jiangnan). Wu Chinese (specifically Shanghainese) is my first language (and mother/ancestral tongue; though it is really the Zhoushan variety of the Ningbo dialect), though I am quite fluent in it, I don't have a strong command of it and it often comes out as ungrammatical. My native language is American English, though there are some deviations in my speech.
