NORTHERN LIGHT ORCHESTRA was founded in 2007 by Brian Stewart and Ken Mary ref WIKIPEDIA. In 2008 the orchestra released it's first CD titled SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS which was distributed in 3500 Blockbuster stores over 400 F.Y.E. stores throughout the USA. The second release for Northern Light Orchestra was in 2010 on EMI titled Northern Light Orchestra and featured performance from Rose Stone of Sly and the Family Stone, Doug Aldrich from Whitesnake, Dave Ellefson from Megedeth, Jon Gibson, Bob Carlylse, George Lynch from Dokken, Robin McCaulley from Survivor, Debbie Sledge from Sister Sledge, Philip Bartowell singer with the Beach Boys, Bruce Kulich from Kiss, Ken Mary from Alice Cooper and House of Lords, Lanny Cordola from House of Lords, Chuck Wright from Quite Riot, String Arrangement by Kp Winger from Winger, lead vocals from Bob Carlylse from Butterfly kisses. Tradional Christmas Songs such as Away in the Manger and Joy to the world were mixed with tracks such as Celebrate Christmas which was released to US Radio and featured on the Sirius XM satellite network Holly Channel.. In 2009 the Group released a live broadcast and DVD titled Spirit of Christmas filmed at the Orpheum Theater Phoenix Arizona the one hour broadcast show was shown on the religious network NRB, JCTV, CORNERSTONE, KGEB and also on PBS affiliates in Illinois,Minnesota,and Kentucky. In 2010 the group recorded new classics including NOEL, Agnus Dei, Angels Singing, Gloria with additional musician including Shane Gibson from Korn, John Elefante from Kansas, Mark Slaughter from Slaughter, contributing.
