From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BobbyWhitehead was an underground musician in the North Central Ohio area, particularly Mansfield, Ohio who played a unique blend of humor rock geared toward punk and heavy metal. The style closely resembles absurdist rock. Over emphasized, over the top and poking fun at the genre of metal, Whitehead performed often in The Party House and various jam nights up until the early 1990's. Band mate Scott Caine, now of The Red Ball Jets, was the other member, known as the Whitehall Orchestra. Caine played drums to Whitehead's guitar and vocals.

At the time this style seemed incomplete, without a bass player, but would be later popularized by the White Stripes.

Caine has reproduced Whitehead recordings for over 20 years and Whitehead remains a visible figure to the underground music scene in Mansfield.

Bobby Whitehead is a psuedonym for a local Mansfield resident who remains anonymous.
