Early Life

Even Brent's birth was interesting. Brent's father, Anthony Earl, was in the medical field at Hill Air force base outside of Ogden, UT. Helping to deliver many babies, and assisting the delivery of his eldest daughter (Naomi) and son (Anthony), Anthony Earl and his wife, Lorna Jean, decided to deliver their third child (Brent) at home. When Lorna began going into labor, both her and Anthony Early were at the military hospital so that Anthony Early could donate blood. Instead of rushing to the hospital (like most people do when having a baby) Anthony Earl and Lorna rushed home from the hospital so that they could go through with their goal of having Brent at home. Brent was born June 11th, 1982.

Brent's family moved to Monrovia, CA for a couple of years to live closer to his mother's older sister and her family. It was at this point where Brent has his earliest childhood memories. One such memory was when Brent got his finger cut off by a tree trimmer when his childhood friend (Dustin) pulled the lever thinking his finger was a stick.

Brent's family decided to move half way through his kindergarten year up to Portland, OR for many reasons. With the many threatening earthquakes in California going on during the 1980's and the majority of Brent's extended family living up in Portland, OR, Brent's parents decided to give their children a home closer to their grandparents.

Brent spent the rest of his early years in Portland, going to school within the David Douglas School District.

During the years after 2000

From 2001 to 2003 Brent served a religious mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ukraine. There, he learned to speak Ukrainian, and understand Russian. It wouldn't be until after his mission before Brent learns to speak Russian. After getting home from Ukraine, Brent worked at the high school he graduated from as a paraprofessional in the ESL (English as a Second Language) department, helping to integrate Russian/Ukrainian students better into English education. Aside from working full time, Brent also went to school full time at Mt. Hood Community college. With what free time he did have, he spent it within the Russian/Ukrainian community in Portland.

After a year and a half in Portland, Brent decided to transfer his education to Brigham Young University of Idaho in Rexburg. Three days in Rexburg, Brent meets Randi Nicole when his room mate and her room mate (who were both dating at the time) introduced them together.

Courtship and Marriage

Brent and Randi dated for a few months while going to school at BYU Idaho. At the end of the semester both Brent and Randi made a trip to Washington to visit Randi's family. It was at this time that Brent purposed to Randi. The engagement lasted eight months due to an unexpected postponement. The last four months of the engagement were spent in Portland, giving Randi enough time to get to know Brent's family a little better before their marriage.

Brent and Randi got Married in Houston, TX on December 9th, 2005. Shortly after their marriage, they moved back to Rexburg, ID to continue their education. Throughout their time there, they had Brent's younger brother (Rodney) live with them for a few months, and his younger sister (JoAnna) finished high school while living with them for 4-5 months. During his time in Rexburg, Brent worked full time as a Paraprofessional at Madison Junior High School, working with Special needs students. He also had a part time job at a movie rental store that rented out edited movies.

Shortly after Brent's wife Randi graduated, they moved to Washington so that Brent could do his student teaching near Randi's family in hopes that they would find a job in Washington. While student teaching at Deer Park High School, Brent worked at a group home for disturbed girls and also at Deer Park Golf Course.

After completion of his student teaching, Brent and Randi put in applications for teaching anywhere they could, and it was in Arizona that they got their jobs. Brent then spent two years teaching US History at Colonel Smith Middle School on the Ft. Huachuca Army base.

Family Life

In March 22nd, 2009 Brent becomes a father of a beautiful blond baby girl named Brennalyn. Brent's focus was no longer just on his life with his wonderful wife Randi; his life was now lived for his daughter.
