I was born in England, and now live in New Zealand.

I have lived & worked in Australia, England, New Zealand, Switzerland.

I love software development; it's my hobby, and I enjoy being paid to do my hobby. My idea of relaxation after a day's programming .. is to write more programmes.

My preferred programming language is Assembler, but these days (2009) I usually code in C# or C++ (with SQL on the side).

Mathematics is also a hobby, and quite a bit of my work has been graphics/spherical geometry/navigation based.

I also enjoy proof-reading; actually, I do it without having to think about it. So when some little error catches my eye in wikipedia, I'll often fix it there & then.
