BRIAN BURU

I am a sixth generation Australian male of Anglo Irish extraction with an interest in society trends and accuracy in written word.

Now being retired from a senior executive role I have more time on my hands and take interest in newspapers, books and the internet hence my attempting to get involved in Wikipedia but on an interest basis and definitely without any expectations of long term interest or commitment.

I pride myself in my objectivity and always try to see the merits on all sides of an argument. But I remain passionate on the score of accuracy and having all the factors behind a story, history, society and the world available to be seen and heard. Censorship needs to be addressed in the name of fairness and accuracy.

My ultimate objective - enjoyment of the facts and reviewing history in the light of those facts.
