Hello there. I've been using and editing Wikipedia since at least 2004, but I've just now gotten around to creating my user page.

I'm a perennial student, currently trying to get established as a freelance writer. I'm primarily interested in the history and cultural context of technology. I also have a lifelong interest in physics and astronomy, and try to keep up with what's going on in that field.

I hold a master's degree in library and information science, and I have worked in legal research and records management. In my spare time, I read vast amounts of science fiction, history, and popular science.
