Brian Norman is a scholar of American literature, especially African American and feminist traditions. He is currently Provost at Antioch College [1]. He has served as Dean of the Gwen Ifill College of Media Arts, and Humanities at Simmons University [2], Professo and Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs and Diversity at Loyola University Maryland [3], visiting research fellow at Wesleyan University's Center for the Humanities, an assistant professor of English and director of Women's Studies at Idaho State University, and a graduate fellow at Rutgers University's Center for Cultural Analysis.
