Mountain ranges of the Southern Appalachians
[edit]I'm currently creating articles for the subranges of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, mostly in North Carolina and Tennessee, possibly in southeastern Kentucky, southwestern Virginia, and northern Georgia.
I've created/expanded the following:
- Great Smoky Mountains — expanded lede, added list of mountains, geology, flora, fauna, and geography sections, several photographs, overhauled other parts.
- Roan Mountain (Roan Highlands) — created article
- Unicoi Mountains — expanded from a brief stub
- Plott Balsams — created stub, planning to expand
- Bald Mountains — created stub, planning to expand
- Black Mountains — expanded, added geography, geology, flora/fauna, and history sections, and several images
- Southern Appalachian spruce-fir forest — created article
