User:Bromous

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bromous is a term of endearment used to show acknowledgement of a peer, see Bro

Commonly used by euphoric scientists in their mid- to late-teens, Bromous shows a higher-level of thought (normally positively correlated with IQ) and comically hints at the molecular compound HBrO2, see Bromous acid. Knowledge of this acid is an indication of recent tutelage from a scholar of sorts. A universally-known name in the field is the late Benson Burner, who pioneered the use of the word, paving the way for generations to come.

Not to be confused with the Roman Bromous the Great, who, in 27 BC was able to successfully mount and ride a Southwest African Lion (Panthera leo bleyenberghi) from the Coliseum through the streets of Rome, Bromous is simply a way for enlightened individuals (see Carl Sagan) to easily recognize one another, and distinguish themselves from the plebeians that are so far below them.
