About Me[edit]

My name is Beth and I am Michigan resident. I currently hold the position of Adult Services Librarian at the Lenox Township Library. I received my Masters in Library and Information Science (or MLIS) from Wayne State University in 2011. I also hold a BA in Psychology from Oakland University.

How This Started[edit]

Originally, I created this account as part of the written project for my Master's program. Each student had to choose a Library Leader from a list of 100 important leaders of the 20th century (as illustrated in American Libraries). We were then put to the task of writing a short biography about that leader, and the contributions made to the field of Library and Information Sciences by that individual to be posted on Wikipedia.

I haven't fuzzed with Wikipedia since... at least until now. My boss, who is an author, is having me great her author wiki. So now I get to relearn everything I did 4 years ago.
