Evaluate the drafted changes[edit]

Lead[edit]

There is a lacking lead section which may still be worked on and may be added to the article at a later date.

Content[edit]

The content added is relevant as it it discusses the implications of climate change on minority communities and the impact of warming temperatures on poorer people in urban areas from increased heat trapping in concrete and lack of shading. The content seems up to date with sources added to various parts of the opening of the "Causes" section. However, it does not seem as though you have published your changes to the wider Wikipedia article. The content seems to enter the specific gap of discussing environmental racism by talking bout the excessive heat that is ravaging urban poor communities due to the structural creation of cities.

Tone and Balance[edit]

The content has a neutral tone and does not seem to be leading in its presentation of information. It is clear and concise with its description of the issue and the opinionated additions are factually sourced. The very conversation about climate change or environmental racism is pretty biased in itself as most people see racism as bad and climate change as an issue, yet the additions did not feed this bias and tried to articulate information impartially.

Sources and References[edit]

The content is well sourced with working links and accurate information contained in the sources. I do not think that these sources are the be all and end all for the topic as there are plenty of other resources to use but this is probably being done and/or is in the works. The sources also seem very current with many of them being from less than 5 years ago.

Organization and Overall impressions[edit]

The content is overall easy to read and pretty clear. It is short and concise with no errors in grammar or spelling. The section on health impacts could be expanded on but the gap in the article concerning increasing temperature of urban concrete environments is a welcome addition.
