Early life and education[edit]
Buliko Desire Mawa, born in Kasese Uganda in 1980. Mawa attended Katojo Primary School and Bwera Secondary in Kasese District before attending Nganwa High School in 1998 for A. Level, a prestigious all-boys boarding high school in Shema former Bushenyi District. After high school, Mawa did not go to university because of the circumstances that up today he has never understood. He spend 11years out of school, it was during that time that he became a political and human rights activist until 2008 when he moved to South Korea for work. While working in South Korea, Mawa attended Korea university one of the elite universities graduating with a bachelor's degree in International Studies; and went to Sogang University in Seoul for a master's degree in international studies in international relations with a minor in international trade. While at Sogang University, he contested for the guild president of the GSIS but lost the election. He went on to obtain the Diploma in Human resources management from Ireland. Career
