  • a two-ton truck, top earth speed=20 kilometers per hour
  • testing is at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas
  • construction completed in 2007
  • detachable plow.
  • independent steering at each of its 6 pairs of wheels (if anything goes wrong there is independency of wheels, one from the others)
    • 6 wheels also allow for immediate turn response and maneuverability.
    • all wheel drive, all wheel steering
  • designed and built in 11 months at a cost of around 3.5 million
