 The end of the bread loaf is called the heel from the translation of the Norwegian word "Skalk". the name heel sound more like a shoe. 
 I propose should have a different name. The end of the bread´s name should be butt because the end of a Gun is called the butt and also a cigarette´s end is called the butt. If you put the ends of the bread together it makes a butt so we should call it the butt of the bread.
