The Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences ( commonly known as NCAC)(Polish: Centrum Astronomiczne im. Mikołaja Kopernika PAN,) established in 1978, is the largest astronomical research institute in Poland，is a scientific institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences .
