According to the view of language experts, the word "Certitude" has come from late Latin word 'Certitūdō' which means "Reality and Fact", having nearly same meaning of word 'Sure', which is also meaning of a Latin word 'Certus'.
the developement of latin language has been divided into three eras

  1. classical latin
  2. late latin
  3. medieval latin
*late latin: the era between the 3rd and 6th century CE. However there is a lot of controversion between scholors and experts on the exact timming of late latin era.
