Brahmasthan a village of Rukhai Panchayat of Chandi thana of Nalanda District. Having population less than 10000 persons. It is mainly a farming community village now a days most of farming and its related labours are migrated from the village to town so farming in this village are forced to adopt mechanical ways. It has a primary school and Agnwadi Centre. More than 20 people of this village are government employee including one Group A officer selected through UPSC and other senior government officials in defense postal bank manager and teachers etc.
