About Me[edit]

I am an upcoming Sophomore student in College of Dupage. In my meatspace I am a Mexican-American only child working at a full-time job at a phone store and a full-time student trying to finish her general education. I am still unsure on what I want to work as in the future. Some hobbies that I have is reading. I mostly enjoy thrillers, and most fictional readings. I am trying to get into non-fiction though. Recently I have really liked writing, especially poetry. I am a proud owner of a heavily mixed puppy. I can fluently speak, write, and read in both english and spanish. I live in an hispanic household, and I have been taught both spanish and english since elementary school to my senior year of high school.

Goals for Wikipedia[edit]

Some goals I have for Wikipedia is to help make Wikipedia more reliable. I know that I was beaten down to the idea that Wikipedia was unreliable and not worth checking for information. Now I know the community and the steps people take to make Wikipedia more knowledgable. I find the community very kind and everyone tries their best to make Wikipedia the best. I hope to be part of the kind community and keep building everyone up and building this website with more knowledge.

Contributions[edit]

I have made a contribution to the article Ivory Ella.

Favorite Quote[edit]

"You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them."[1]

- Maya Angelou, Letter to My Daughter

This quote speaks a lot to me because personally I like having control over my life, and it gets frustrating when life throws a curve ball. I like to apply this quote to my life whenever something unfortunate happens to me I decide to get back up and try again.

Articles of Interest[edit]

Save the Elephants, I really like Elephants and after I took Environmental Science I learned about how the Elephants were in danger so I wanted to do some more research on programs that help Elephants.
