Belarus-Kazakhstan-Russia Custom Union The Customs union was formed on October 6th, 2007. It presupposes creation of integrated customs area. It was aimed at increasing the volume of trade between these countries. Therefore a united system of standartization was worked out. Certifications and Declarations that are valid in the territory of countries- members of the Customs Union shall be issued on new blank sheets and brought into Unified Register in accordance with the decision of Committee of Customs Union.
Therefore the permitting documentaion that confirms the conformance to requirements of the Customs Union can be used by all the organizations that manufacture their produce in the territory of the Customs Union as well as the companies that sell their products in the territory of the Customs Union.
Blank sheets of Certificates of conformity and blank sheets of supplements are strictly recorded documents and must have at least 4 protection levels. Procedure of standartization is obligatory only for the organizations that sell in the whole territory of the Customs Union or in several countries-members of the Customs Union only. In case a company sells in or supplies only to one of these countries it will be more profitable to certify products within the system of standartization of this particular country.
