[edit]March 14 2020 - i added part of the article into my sand box. For now I am looking for additional resources on my article to add more information on the statue / Artist. (1 hour)
March 15 2020 - Found a new photo to add using Wiki's CC search of already approved images to use for my article. Also added more information on the story of the statue and what it represents. (2 hours)

[edit]Isaac is a statue by Epitacio Calvo. He represents the Biblical Character Isaac from Genesis 22, in verses 7 and 8. One copy is installed across from Alameda Central in Mexico City, Mexico.
Origin
[edit]In this story, Isaac's father Abraham was commanded by god (Yahweh) to sacrifice his son. He instructed Isaac to gather the firewood for the event. Isaac at this time had no knowledge of the command god had bestowed upon his father.
