Center for Peace and Journalism -CEPJO- is an independent, non-governmental, member-governed, non-profit organization engaged in humanitarian assistance and protection programmes. The Center is global member network encircling the full variety of institutional based human rights in defending local and international affiliations. Center for Peace and Journalism -CEPJO- concentrates on working on peace journalism and media’s participation on peace.

Center for Peace is a voluntary association composed of experienced journalists and individual professionals engaged in the field of humanitarian assistance and protection.

Membership to CEPJO requires the demonstration of a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience. "Relevant professional experience" in this context is considered to mean professional engagement that has contributed directly or indirectly to Peace, humanity, and protection activities. The professional character of this experience is linked to the standardized nature of this activity, specific to humanitarian operations, such as planning of operations, implementation of programs, evaluation of programs, management of humanitarian operations and/or organizations, engagement in legal and policy developments, as well as advocacy work pertaining to humanitarian assistance and protection.
