His Initiatives brought electricity to every village in the entire state of Punjab.

Launched the first Thermal Plant in the state of Punjab. He named it after the first Guru in Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji Thermal Plant.

Presented state case to Prime Minister Nehru to get Bhakra Dam funded by Government of India. Bhakra Dam was the Worlds largest gravity Dam & the 4th largest Dam in the world when constructed.

First person from Doaba Region to receive engineering degree from Indian Institute of Science & post graduate degree electrical Er. IISc Bangalore

First Power Engineer to head a state electricity board in the history of India.

Named 3rd largest reservoir of water in India, Gobind Sagar after 10th Guru of Sikhism.

Published Author of multiple books, poetry & articles. Author of “Power Planning and Implementation of National Power Policy.”

Fluent in 6 languages, Punjabi, Gurmukhi, Hindi, English, Farsi & Urdu.

Developed the Village of Jian in Punjab, India.
