We Believe: The Movie is a 2009 documentary film about the city of Chicago and her enduring love for the Chicago Cubs. directed by John Scheinfeld, (The U.S. vs. John Lennon), this feature film documentary is a celebration of hope, loyalty, faith and the extraordinary love affair between a great city and its baseball team. We Believe explores the relationship between Chicago, the Cubs and their loyal fans. It is currently scheduled to be released into theaters during the spring of 2009.

The Chicago Cubs and the City of Chicago will be brilliantly combined in this powerful and passionate documentary film set against the 2008 baseball season and the 100th Anniversary of the last Cubs win at the World Series. Filming for the documentary has been underway since February 2008 the opening of Cubs Spring Training Camp in Mesa, Arizona. The filming will be completed at the end of the CUBS 2008 season and the documentary will be released in early 2009.

The film, described as an intimate observation of love and loyalty, caters to a wide range of audience members and sports fans alike. We Believe intricately intertwines the sport of baseball with the fascinating city of Chicago, as it focuses on the Cubs, the fans, and the fascinating culture that has developed as a result.
