Sasolburg high school was founded in 1953 in the town of Sasolburg, Northern Freestate, Freestate South Africa. Currently the school boasts a indoor cricket center, 1 cricket oval, 2 rugby fields, 4 tennis courts, 8 netball courts, 1 grass hockey field, 1 AstroTurf and 2 squash courts. The school also has a hostel, being able to house 100 students. The school has 2 houses, the kudus and the Gemsies. The Kudus wear red and Gemsies wear blue, both kudu and Gemsies wild bucks found in South Africa. Sasolburg high school rivals a neighbouring school, HTS Sasolburg.
