Me, Myself, and I
[edit]This user is currently a freshman at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Georgia Southern University is close to the coast of Georgia, and it is a really great place to live if you like nothing but great weather. Most people say that Georgia Southern is a party school, but this user takes it as a school where students can have fun and live their lives. GSU has many great different programs for students in order for them to experience something they can't outside of this school. GSU offers masters and doctorate degrees for many different types of majors.
Coming to Georgia Southern University, this user received Georgia's Hope Scholarship for keeping an eighty average in high school. Many states offer statewide funded scholarships to schools, but this user believes that the Hope Scholarship is more beneficial and easier to get than other states in the United States. The Hope Scholarship pays for the students tuition and books for each semester as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA, which is a eighty average, in college. This user was a proud member of the orchestra in his high school, where he played in countless amounts of concerts in the highest level orchestra. This user loves music, and has a talent of playing many different types of instruments such as the violin, guitar, drums, and piano. He also maintained a 3.2 GPA in high school and plans to keep his grades up and high in college.
This user is in the major of Mechanical Engineering here at Georgia Southern University. GSU offers a program called Regional Engineers Transfer Program, RETP, which transfers the student in engineering studies to Georgia Institute of Technology after their sophomore year. Then, the student graduates with a engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, which is look up upon by many businesses and job offerers. This is considered one of the hardest majors or programs in Georgia Southern University because of the hard courses that are required for the student to take in order for them to transfer to Georgia Institute of Technology. This user likes to play beach volleyball with his friends, and he loves almost any type of fishing, especially deep sea fishing.

Works on Wikipedia
[edit]So far in the Wikipedia world, this user has contributed to many different Wikipedia articles. This user recently finished up an article about an Ohio State University football player, Cameron Heyward. This user also edited and contributed to other articles that needed revision and editing. He enjoys doing this believes that he will continue on with this hobby for a long time.
Recently, the article on the Ohio State Football player, "Cameron Heyward", was edited and majority of the information was deleted. At first, he had no idea how to fix or retrieve it, but he used the discussion page to ask the person who deleted how it could be written better so that it would not get deleted in the future. Briskbaby was the one to edit the article, and he gave couple of good advices. Briskbaby commented, "You can feel free to add some information as you deem fit, but make sure that it's relevant, unbiased, and unemotional." This was the main reason why it got deleted, and he said rather than giving opinions like "Cameron Heyward was one the best defensive tackle in the NCAA," which is an opinion, it could be put as "Cameron Heyward was ranked one of the highest defensive tackles by the NCAA," which is a fact. The user tried to make revise the article and make it more relevant, however the information gathered was not enough to make it into a lengthy article. Here is the link to the final article: Cameron Heyward. This is where the user originally started his article: Test Page.
Since majority of the article has been edited, this user decided to edit and add some relevant information on the city of Suwanee, Georgia. The user grew up in Suwanee and the city recently built a park called "Suwanee Town Center Park". The user decided to create a sub-headed section titled "Recreations". This is the link to the article: Suwanee, Georgia.
This user, also, added more information on the history of the city of Duluth, Georgia.
Recently, this user added more personal information about Craig "Iron Head" Heyward.
Here are some of the links to the works I've done and edited: Cameron Heyward, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Peachtree Ridge High School, Jet Ski
Simple but Frustrating Technology
[edit]Technology always made the impossible possible in the past few decades. Today, this world would be nothing without technology because of how it has grown into it. This user believes that technology, even though its sometimes frustrating, is very important for most people in the world. Almost all businesses use technology in order to keep the corporation running, and without it a business would not be a business.
This user is not completely familiar with technology, but knows enough to do certain things on the computer and surf the web. He also likes the idea of texting and emailing rather than receiving a hand written mail that takes many business days to get. Technology has made peoples lives much easier by making processes, such as mailing, take almost little to nothing in time. Once you click the send button on the email, the person you sent it to has already received it, rather than waiting couple of days for the hand written mail to come. Typing in this world has almost become a essential skill to a normal person's life. Almost all people in the United States know how to type. This user believes that he, in fact, is a fast typer compare to others. Typing has been a problem for him until the eight grade in middle school, where he took typing classes in order for him to know the skill to typing.
Even though this user may not be a complete computer geek, he still knows how to surf the web proficiently. He is very familiar with anything on the internet that surfing the web has become one of his main hobbies throughout the day. This user is familiar with Microsoft Office, and loves to use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point. He still struggles to use the Microsoft Excel and many different Microsoft Office tools.
Philosophy of Wikipedia
[edit]In the past, this user has used Wikipedia countless number of times to research for certain thing. Wikipedia has information about almost everyone and everything that it is very easy to use and useful to some extent. He has always thought Wikipedia was a great place to get information from, but it lacks in credit. Throughout his high school years, all of his teachers scorned Wikipedia saying that Wikipedia is not a good place at all to find information about certain things. The whole school even blocked off the Wikipedia.org site because of all the criticism and hatred towards Wikipedia. Because of this influence on Wikipedia, this user has not used this site for information until he entered college. He thought that the school was going too far just to keep the students away from the Wikipedia site. He believed it to be pretty ridiculous for the schools to discourage Wikipedia even though he gives numerous amounts of information about a certain thing or a certain someone. Wikipedia can be useful in some ways, but because of the lack in credit, this user believes that it is not a reliable enough source to cite in a traditional college term paper.
This user favors the use of Wikipedia and believes it is very useful in life. Whenever you want to know something about that someone, you can just go on Wikipedia and search for the name and it is almost guaranteed to find it. My philosophy on Wikipedia is that it should not be criticized or scorned for providing information about people and things in this world. It may be not credible, but people shouldn't discourage others to use it. It is a useful tool, just not useful and credible enough to cite it in formal essays. I love the fact Wikipedia is open and democratic because anyone can become an author of an article in Wikipedia. It just makes writing a little bit more fun!
Bilingual, Almost
[edit]This user's ethnicity is South Korean, so he was raised in a Korean cultured family. Korean was his native language that he was born into. He spent the first five years of his life living in Korea, almost having no choice of learning a different language. However, that all changed when his family moved to the United States at the end of 1998. His language that he used the most had changed from Korean to English. He would use Korean a little bit here and there talking to his parents, but life out side of his house was all English.
He may be able to speak Korean and English, there still is a big difference between the two now that he has lived in the United States almost his entire life. He still struggles writing and reading the native Korean language, and his next goal is to perfectly learn his native language in the future. Even though this user can speak the Korean language, he doubts writing any Wikipedia articles in Korean due to his lack of skill in writing Korean.

Sports Fan, Safe Driver, and All Kinds of Stuff
[edit]This user is a huge sports lover. His favorite sport is football. He loves to just relax on Saturdays watching college football with couple of his buddies. On Sundays, he loves to do the same thing as he did on Saturday, except he watches professional football. He believes that football is one of the most exciting sports in the world, and he plans on being a big football fan for the rest of his life. Right not, he currently is the fan of the Atlanta Falcons because it is his home city, and he loves watching the quaterback, Matt Ryan, play each game day. When it comes to baseball, he loves the Atlanta Braves currently because of how good they have been playing in this season, and it is Bobby Cox's last season as the manager of the team. When it comes to basketball, He loves the Atlanta Hawks because of their jerseys and colors. He also loves watching Joe Johnson for the Atlanta Hawks play. So basically, this user is a huge Atlanta fan when it comes to sports.
Sidetracking from sports, this user is confident that he is one of the best drivers in the streets of today. He does not fool around when if comes to driving because of two life threatening incidents that happened when he was in a car. This user was in a huge car crash when the car he was in hit a big truck going 50 miles per hour dead on. Luckily the air bags popped out saving the life of him and his mother. The second incident was when he was in the car with one of his friends, the car started hydroplaning as soon as we were on top of the 500 foot high bridge in the Spaghetti Junction in Atlanta. The car hit the railings three different times, and at the final blow, the trunk of the car was hanging off the bridge. When he saw this as soon as he go out of the car, he had thanked God more than he ever did in his life. That was the awakening of him becoming a safe driver. This user never likes to make jokes about crashes or fool around while he is behind the wheel.
