I am the author of Book by Book: The Complete Guide to Creating Mother-Daughter Book Clubs (Seal Press 2009) and I have been providing information about authors, books to read, activities for meetings and more since 2007 on Mother Daughter Book Club.com.

I live in Oregon, and I established my first mother-daughter book club in 2000, when my oldest daughter was nine. I started a second club with my youngest daughter in 2003. My goal is to provide information that helps readers of all ages find out more about books and authors. My articles about reading and family literacy appear regularly in parenting magazines around the U.S.
