I am a neuropsychiatrist MD, now retired as full professor at the University of Cagliari, Italy. I live and work in Sardinia (Italian island).

My research activity mainly concerns psychiatric tests, headache, epilepsy. My main interests are curing patients and studying the functioning of the mind and solving problems.

I think a very important thing for the good of the human being is a correct knowledge of the reality (this is “science”). Logic is a fundamental tool for this. Nonetheless, I very much appreciate humor, the “non-logical” or “anti-logical”, even if unfortunately my mind is not very predisposed to create it.

I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. My favorite leisure activities: swimming in the Sardinian sea, canoeing and, in the past, windsurfing; alpine skiing in winter.
