Kenn Orphan (July 1, 1969 - ) is a Canadian-American artist, writer and environmental activist.

Biography Orphan is originally from New York where he obtained a graduate degree in sociology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook (also known as Stony Brook University or SUNY Stony Brook). He moved to San Diego in the 1990s where he worked extensively with refugee resettlement and with the terminally ill in hospice care. His activism has focused primarily on environmental racism, climate change and defense of wildlife; but he has also been active in the antiwar campaign. Orphan has written numerous articles for various publications including the Hampton Institute and his personal blog. His art has also been featured in galleries across North America.
