From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Claude Didry is French sociologist, senior researcher at the CNRS (French Center for Scientific Research), born in 1963. He is the director of a research unit gathering historians, sociologists, economists and lawyers which is named "Institutions et Dynamiques Historiques de l'Economie" (Institutions and Historical Dynamics of the Economy). His research unit is situated in Paris (Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne) and in the Paris suburb (Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan, in Cachan, where he works). His research activity is focused on industrial relations in France and in Europe [1]. For a presentation of his research, see his interview with Rainer Diaz-Bone [2]. He is reorienting his research activity on the labor as a social, institutional and historical reality, linking an historical perspective to a more contemporary analysis of the firms' restructuring and the innovation activities of the employees.
