i plan to use this platform to learn more about the essence of learning, the concept of knowledge, and systems of thought. like cleanliness, an appetite for learning is the symptom of a human virtue which we carelessly classify as a prescribed metric in the pipeline of a good life.[1]
in my effort to create a robust and deeply personal solution to the lifelong aspiration of goodness, i humbly surrender myself to cluelessness. i must consciously choose to nurture my intellect, and that choice exemplifies the beauty and awesomeness of free will each time i make it. to learn is to humbly witness the wonder of life. in the words of zena hitz
"learning’s value is intrinsic, not just instrumental, and it is directed at objects worth knowing for their own sakes: people, numbers, God, nature"
on a less philosophical note, this is simply where i intend to collect, hoard, and eventually aggregate information that may or may not be used in projects that i will no doubt encourage myself to finish someday.
