Neuralink - This is Elon Musk's company that is making a neural implant, its purpose is to help people with paralysis communicate by allowing them to remotely control devices using their brain. It's not so much of a source, its more of a good example of what type of brain implants we might be receiving in the future

  • Velasquez-Manoff, Moises. August 28, 2020 "The Brain Implants That Could Change Humanity"
    • This article talks about how Brain Implants could make a positive impact on the human, it also has some examples of brain implants and how they effect us. The article has an incredible amount of information, even talking about how the brain implant might help us compete with A.I.
  • Cyberpunk 2077, Neuralware
    • The reason I put this is because Neuralware is this games version of Brain Implants, instead of directly attaching and hurting the brain, it attaches to the spine and connects to the nerves allowing it to reach the brain. Its what the makers of Cyberpunk think brain implants might look like 50 years in the future. Neuralware allows the user to achieve the unthinkable, they can change their perception of time and move faster. You can even learn how to do something just by putting a chip into a slot on your neck, such as mastering a Martial Art or becoming a cook. Now of course this is just fiction and has no evidence behind it. Something like this could definitely be the future of brain implants and plays a huge part in my topic about the future of brain implants.
    • Observer, Wanted: Dead, Steins;Gate 0, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance are all games that fall under the category Transhumanism. This would be good examples for brain implants in videogames because they all use them.
