Cristel Tiokou born in Douala, Cameroon in 1975. Fourth child of his mother(Nguepseu Madeleine), He lived at his early age with his grand-mother(Mougang Anne) in Bamena, his father's (Tchepnou Samuel) home town. He learned his mother tongue during that period. He did his primary school at ecole de la Fraternité in Douala; his secondary started at Collège Chevreuil (the three first years), then at Lycée Joss Douala. He continuing in Yaoundé at Lycée de Biyem-Assi for the last three years of the secondary. Since january 1995, he lives in Montréal, Canada where he got in winter session(1996) the Diplome d'Etude Collegial(DEC) at Collège Français on fairmount street. With this diploma in Pures and Applicated Sciences, he was admitted in Ecole Polytechnique of Montréal from Fall Session in 1996.
