Bartleby Snopes Literary Magazine is an American, web-based literary magazine and print anthology dedicated to compositions having unique and lasting artistic merit from new and established writers. Content selected for inclusion favor the General non-genre literary category. It publishes flash fiction and short stories. Bartleby Snopes Literary Magazine was founded in 2008 by Nathaniel Tower, the managing editor.[1]
In November, 2010, Flavorwire named Bartleby Snopes as one of ten online literary magazines you should be reading[2].

The twice-annual anthology Winter, 2014: Issue 11
The first five stories in this issue are the finalists from the Fifth Annual Dialogue Only Contest. This year's judges included h. l. nelson (Editor of Cease, Cows) and Bonnie ZoBell (author of The Whack-Job Girls). Each month Bartleby Snopes publishes eight stories and host a Story of the Month contest. The Story of the Month winners are chosen by the readers of Bartleby Snopes and are included here. Masthead[edit]
- Nathaniel Tower - Founding and Managing Editor, lives in the Twin Cities area with his wife and daughter. After teaching high school English for nine years, he decided to start a new career in writing and marketing. His fiction has appeared in over two hundred online and print journals. His first collection of short stories, "Nagging Wives, Foolish Husbands"[3] was released by Martian Lit in 2014. In 2011, MuseItUp Publishing released his first novel, A Reason to Kill[4], followed a year later by his first novella, Hallways and Handguns[5].[6][7]
