If you're wondering why I'm called Daimyo2... well Daimyo was taken already, that's it.

Hi, I am Dr. Claudio Butticè, Pharm.D., a clinical and hospital pharmacist who worked for several large public hospitals in Southern Italy, as well as for the humanitarian NGO Emergency.

I am eagerly editing both the Italian and US Wikipedia on all those topics that pertain my field of specialization such as medicine, pharmacology, health, nutrition and herbal medicine. I also like to delve into other fields I'm passionate about like history, video gaming, melee weapons and sociology. I think that scientific knowledge is the foundation for the evolution of human race, and I want to provide my contribution to humanity by writing as much as I can.

Today, I am an accomplished medical writer who wrote as an author in several encyclopedias, including The SAGE Encyclopedia of Cancer and Society (2015), The SAGE Encyclopedia of World Poverty (2015), and other sociology and anthropology reference textbooks. I'm also the author of fantasy literature and poetry books in Italy, and I'm now working as a medical advisor and writer for several international firms in the United States and Europe.

I hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Palermo.

COI Disclosure[edit]

I work for attorneys who are conducting litigation on rivaroxaban, olmesartan, ondansetron and the medical device Essure. That work creates a conflict of interest here in Wikipedia, and I will abide by the COI guideline if I want to work on articles about those drugs, the drug class, etc.
