# Episode Title[2] Maiden Air Date
1"Courage, Sandybell"
Transliteration: "Yūki, Sandī Beru" (Japanese: 勇気,サンディーベル)
6 @ March 1981
An impromptu geography lesson about Scotland in relation to its neighbors gives way to finding our heroine Sandy-Belle having fun with Maggie and a couple of other boys when the property warden Thomas races onto the scene to vociferously object the kids' activities only to find that two can play that game when he stumbles into a pitfall of the kids' proactive design; while successful in escaping capture at the Warden's hands, Sandy-Belle can never truly outrun the consequences of her antics as evidenced when Maggie's grandmother storms over to Christie-ke intent on a punitive objurgation regarding the minor injury Maggie has taken from the hasty evacuation. While most of the minor damage is from how Maggie's family government has responded to the incident and is nothing that a little TLC from Sandy-Belle's auxiliary guardian Mrs. Scott cannot fix, it is not long before Sandy-Belle again wanders into hot water with her selfless intercession for a lamb that has wandered into the path of an oncoming automobile whose occupants are far more upset about the minor delay endemic to the emergency stop rather than Sandy-Belle endangering herself along with a muddy confrontation with Charles-tachi (Charles and his two cohorts in convoy); still, the angry family government of Charles-tachi is quite tame compared to Sandy-Belle making enemies with the aristocrat Kitty Shiara when Professor Leslie[3] Christie refuses her the slightest redress for Sandy-Belle's intercepting the wild duck she shot!!! What Leslie fails to realize is that Charles and Kitty's revenge will ultimately take the choice of family government style away from him when Sandy-Belle is detected as an interloper for doing nothing more than admiring the interior opulence of the Wellington-ke castle; while Leslie has his prologue reviewed along with the poor judgment that has been demonstrated all around prior to confronting Sandy-Belle with the data of her exact error, the father-daughter reconciliation gives way to Sandy-Belle coming face-to-face with Countess Wellington!!!
