Damjan Cvetkovic (born September 12, 1989) is a former Serbian community college student who graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Management from Thomas More University College in Mechelen and a Master's Degree from the Belgian Advertising School.
Early life
[edit]Damjan was born in Belgrade, Serbia. He lived in Belgrade with his father Branko, mother Marina and younger sister Ana for six years before moving to Budapest for work-related reasons. His father is an IT/DW specialist and his mother taught German in high school. Damjan attended elementary school in Budapest in Serbian before switching to a Hungarian school later on. By the age of 10 he could already speak Serbian, Hungarian and English fluently. As a child he was very social and was able to make new friends with ease. In his childhood, Damjan played football, floorball (a kind of indoor hockey) and swam. During the summer of '99 his family moved countries once more and ended up in Belgium. Having a relatively small knowledge about the country, its customs and languages, Damjan interacted with his peers and teachers in English for the first couple of months before mastering the Dutch language and later the French as well.
Academic career
[edit]After studying Latin/Greek and Mathematics for 4 years, Damjan switched to Modern Languages/Science in his last 2 years to get a more rounded education before leaving high school. In his first and last year of university studies Damjan studied Communication Sciences at the KUL in Leuven. Being unsatisfied with his grades due to lack of interest he switched schools and moved to Lessius Mechelen to study Communications Management. Having found what he was really interested in, Damjan became more interested in the subjects and his grades got better. Although in a more mature period of his life, he still remains a very social and easygoing person.
Damjan has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Management from Thomas More and a Master's Degree from the Belgian Advertising School.

[edit]Damjan's mother tongue is Serbian. He also speaks Dutch, French, English, German, Croatian and Hungarian.
Work career
[edit]Damjan is Digital Account Executive at Saatchi & Saatchi Belgium.
He was Project Support at Demonstr8 from June 2014 until May 2015.
In 2013 - 2014, he was a Trainee Account Manager at TBWA\Brussels for a period of 6 months.
He has worked as Content Manager at ALBERTcan, an advertising agency in Antwerp, from Feb 2012 until Aug 2013.
From Jan 2013 to Apr 2013 Damjan was part of 20Something, the only agency in the world run by students. After completing his term in the agency he was awarded the Young Advertising Potential Certificate by 6+1.
Damjan has previously worked as a garçon in the Brasserie Notre Dame-Quasimodo in Leuven from Jun 2006 to Sep 2011.
