Abraham Armando Salazar Muñoz, better known as ABRRHM (pronounced: ay·bruh·ham), is a Mexican American DJ & record producer.
Personal life[edit]
Salazar was born in Granada Hills, CA. and raised in Pacoima, CA., located north of downtown Los Angeles, CA. in the San Fernando Valley. Salazar is the youngest out of two, he was raised by his mother and grandparents. Salazar's mother was financially unstable most of her life, forcing his family to live in a converted garage home at his grandparents' house. At times, he would have to pause his college studies to support his family working a variety of jobs, he disliked worked for all of them because he didn't view them as a promising outlook. At a young age, Salazar had trouble getting along with people because he was victim of bullying.
Early Career[edit]
He began his career in late 2014, when he attended a community college to major in Radio Broadcasting. At first, Salazar had a desire to become a radio host but later on changed his interests into producing music. Salazar's parents supported him by purchasing him a Pioneer CDJ-900 set. He was an open-format DJ servicing local private events. At a young age, Salazar had an interest in the EDM (Electronic Dance Music) genre.
Salazar was undecisive at times of pursuing his career in music because he was afraid of not being able to accomplish a career in music. After taking a pause in music he decided to drop out of college and pursue his studies as a Software Engineer, a career seemingly promise to Salazar. He partook in a variety of online learning resources and coding bootcamps to accomplish this transition. Salazar also learned Graphic Design and Digital Marketing as a hobby.
