Julia Mulenga Chikamoneka (1910 – 20 March 1986) was a political activist in colonial Zambia. She was a founding member of the Women’s Brigade in 1951 (which later became known as Women's League) and was involved in several protests against colonial rule [1]. In 1960, she marched to the District Commissioner's office and slapped him [2]. She demonstrated with other women at Lusaka's airport, stripped naked to the waist [3].
