[edit]Antonio Suarez is a Professor at Marymount Manhattan College as well as an experienced Broadway, and TV actor. At 48 years old, Antonio teaches Acting I & II as well as special topics at Marymount. Antonio currently lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife and two kids.
Early Life
[edit]Growing up, Antonio lived in Brooklyn, New York. Antonio was not exposed to any theatre as a child. Not only was theatre not a big influence in his neighborhood, but and his parents were not involved in theatre. He didn't have any sort of interest until a friend introduced him to what its like to be a thespian. He wanted to get involved in theatre because he saw how inclusive it was and how much they treated each other like a family.
Education
[edit]Antonio attended a community college before he got is BFA at Marymount Manhattan College. In a phone interview, Antonio said that working at Marymount is very much a full circle experience being that he got his undergrad from MMC and now teachers there.

Career
[edit]Theatre
[edit]Not only is Antonio a skilled Broadway actor but he is also a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild- American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, Actors Equity Association, and The Phoenix Theatre Company. In addition to acting, Antonio also directs shows at Marymount Manhattan College. At Marymount he has recently done Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge and An Enemy of the People Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen.
