Great Educational Revolutionist Padbhushan Dr. Karmveer Bhaurao Patil started Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College at Karad Tehsil Karad, District Satara(MAharashtra, India) in 1954. Presently more than 10000 students are admitted to various courses in this college. 
 In 2017  NAAC BAngalore awarded A+ grade to this college. This college got status of Community College.
