Mary Shenouda is a former tech executive turned Personal Chef after receiving a life-changing diagnosis of Celiac Disease, alongside an intolerance to Casein and Soy. She now co-owns CleanEats and operates as a Personal Paleo Chef to high profile personalities, athletes and wellness leaders such as Tim Ferriss.
Early career[edit]
Shenouda began her career in sales at VeriSign but quickly progressed to online marketing at Lyris Technologies where she worked as an inside account executive. From there she became a founding team member of enole where she served as the director of marketing and business development. She co-founded the website beyourownawesome.com with her partner Lian Amaris. The site inspired people to come to terms with their fears and create meaningful change in their lives.[1][2] While serving as an "Ambassador of Awesome", Mary was a sales manager at HumanConcepts, a Saba company, until October 2012.
CleanEats and Paleo Chef[edit]
Mary Shenouda began Paleo Chef from the belief that food should be pure, Paleo friendly, delicious and creative. Through her brand, Mary works as a personal paleo chef and co-owns CleanEats, a paleo snacks merchant.[3]
