David Coulthrust was born on the 2nd November 1971 in the island of Barbados and has lived here his entire life. In 1985, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour, after which the Lord led him to attend CEF Miracle Centre. During his membership there, he became a Sunday School teacher as well as a Youth Leader and began his Preaching Ministry.

Approximately a decade after his conversion, the Lord led him to become a member of Mount Zion United Holy Church of America, where he became a Youth Leader, and eventually an Associate Pastor. While having that burning desire to minister to young people, God allowed him to become a National Youth Leader of United Holy Church (UHC) and an Ordained Minister.

The hand of the Lord was truly leading him as God opened the door for him to become one of the youngest Pastors in UHC. In 2000 - 2006, he became the Pastor of Gospel Light House United Holy Church of America.

During his Christian walk, God has opened many doors of opportunities for him. He is a former singer with the Miraclettes, a former member of the Barbados Youth Parliament, a former UCCF president at the Barbados Community College and during that time he led that group on a missionary trip to Jamaica in 1994. He has also preached and ministered in Guyana, Grenada, Dominica, St. Vincent, Jamaica and Nigeria. Apostle David Coulthrust has preached at many churches across the land and has seen dozens of people come to the Lord under his ministry.

David Coulthrust has been the Master of Ceremonies at several major gospel concerts in Barbados and the region, including the Barbados Gospelfest on several occasions, where he introduced such acts as, Richard Smallwood and Vision, Keith Staten and Alvin Slaugther as well as many other international gospel artistes. He was also the Master of Ceremonies at two of the largest concerts ever to be held at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium: Shine the Light Concert and the Grace Thrillers Concert. He also had the privilege to be the Master of Ceremonies at the Antigua Gospelfest 2008, where he introduced acts such as Christafari, Judy Jacobs, Mr. Lynx and Tye Tribett and Greater Anointing and many others.

David Coulthrust has been married to Caroline Coulthrust since December 13th 1997 and they have one child. In 2006, the Lord led them both to plant and pastor Word Alive Christian Centre International Inc. an Apostolic church with a heavy emphasis on Worship, Intercession, Leadership and Learning as the predominant culture in the church. In 2016, God led them to change the name of the church to Nation Of Worship Global of which he is the Senior Elder.

He is and has been a practicing and registered Pharmacist for over 20 years, a business man and owns and operates two businesses. David Coulthrust is a former member of the Coleridge & Parry Secondary School, a former Primary School Teacher in the Ministry of Education and a former life Underwriter. He has an Internationally Accredited Diploma (Network Services) in Counseling, an Associate Degree in Applied Science (BCC), a Degree in Psychology (UWI Cave Hill) with Honors and a Masters in Business Administration with a Specialty in Entrepreneurship from the University of Liverpool. His long term goal is to establish an institute which focuses on innovation and creativity in the area of entrepreneurship so as to enable developing nations to create economically sustainable and viable businesses which would result in national growth in every level of society.

Apostle Reverend David Coulthrust has been preaching and ministering to young people for over two decades (20 years). He is a Marriage Counselor, Marriage Officer, Motivational Speaker, a Life Coach, an Entrepreneur and a Leader. But most of all a Husband and a Father.

Apostle David Coulthrust believes that the power of God can transform any life and open any door. He believes that persons need to realize their full potential and position to walk in and accomplish the great things which God created them to accomplish. He also believes that failure and success are all a part of life and that we must learn from both.

David Coulthrust is not afraid to fail nor is he afraid to succeed. His motto in life is simply this “My Destiny is Great”.
