The difference between Q701 and K701 is huge. Q701 does better in the medium frequency and in the low frequency it is also be soft. When two words "Quincy Jones" and "Q701" combine together, The Q701 is not only a headphone anymore, it is an attitude and a statement to the music. Quincy is the fans of AKG, who use the AKG headphone to create songs at the time he recorded for Michael Jackson. The structure and the specification of the Q701 are similar to the K701; however the differences exist in the detail. Q701 is made in Austria which means it comes from the original factory.

There is some difference in the appearance. K701 only has white and black and Q701 add the bright green in its design. The inner side prints the identifier. The ear cushion is basically as same as K701 which is soft. Q701 use the specific plastic structure which not only grantee the weight, but also the hardness which make the adorn feeling of Q701 is comfortable. The big ear cushion can cover the whole ear, which grantee the efficiency of sound insulation
