He also holds many other directorships of Asset Management/Financial/Property Companies.

Early Life [1]

He was born in Yorkshire in 1970. After his mother and father separated the family moved down to London when he was 2 years old, with his two brothers. Initially the whole family (Grandmother, two aunts, mother and 2 brothers all lived in a small 3 bedroom flat, which was situated above a printing shop. He recalls sharing 1 room with his two brothers in a “very modest flat”. He attended primary school in South East London and then went on to Secondary School in Bromley Kent. He was always into sports and while at school he was a member of the rugby team and the athletics team. While at school at the age of 13 he managed to land himself his first job, working at the weekends, working for a school friend’s uncle, who owned a building firm in Nunhead, South East London. His primary responsibilities were stripping wallpaper and “being a general dog’s body and washing the boss’s car (a Mercedes SL). This experience sparked his first interest in property as well as sparking the aspiration to own a nice car. He did very well academically and left school at 16 years old with several "O" Levels. Instead of going on to do his A levels full time, driven by the experiences of living in a very financially poor single parent family, he immediately went into Banking at age 16. His first full time job was with Barclays Bank, starting out as an office Junior and he worked his way up to the position of Accounts Supervisor. This was probably the most fitting first proper job for him as he always, from a very young age, had a fascination with numbers and mathematics and would spend a lot of his spare time doing calculations and learning a higher level of maths than he was being taught in school. This most likely is one of the things that serves him well, even to the present day, especially when trading the financial markets.

Career[2]

While working at the Barclays Bank during the day  he continued his studies during the evening and undertook to pass his Chartered Institute of Banking Examinations which he duly passed. He recalls this experience as like "being on a treadmill because for years all you know is getting up early, going to work, going to college, going home then going to bed".

He made his first stock market investment in 1987 and purchased his first property in 1988 at the age of 18. He then left Barclays Bank in 1989 to become a Financial Consultant working for Guardian Royal Exchange and then subsequently Royal Life. His primary role was advising on Life Assurance, Pensions and Investment Plans. This is where he also learned to become a Mortgage Adviser. It was then that he started to accumulate a lot more knowledge and started to formulate his strategies about how to make money in Property and on the Stock Market.

Since making his first forays into property and the stock market, with no outside assistance, he has bought and sold hundreds of properties and executed several thousands of trades on the capital markets. On the property side he has also been involved in countless property deals as joint ventures or in an advisory role. Being one of the pioneers of the use of Option Agreements and other “creative tools” his property deals have ranged from the smallest of studio flats bought at auction to large commercial buildings in Central London worth millions of pounds. He has also advised many investors and developers on Land Acquisition and is regarded as an expert in the field of Property and Finance. He has also been involved with the setting up and running of Property Companies, Finance Companies and many other businesses in which his expertise has been called upon. He currently provides consultation and tutoring on property and financial matters as well as the fact that he still successfully invests in property and successfully trades the FX and Capital Markets himself. He has written several books using the vast experience and knowledge he has gained throughout the years, whether it be through investing in property and the Financial Markets or teaching others his strategies for succeeding in these fields. These books are really a culmination of the most common questions which he has been asked on a regular basis and is still being asked.

In the Arena of the Financial Markets he is a leading trainer to corporations and individuals and in addition to this he is also a Personal Development (success) coach and a Business Angel.

On the 29th February 2016 he was announced as the winner of the Investment-Reporter.com Trading challenge competition.[3]
