Deborah Tucker (figure skater) is the same person as Deborah Tucker (actress). She competed at U.S. Nationals in the Championship Ladies event in both 1985 and 1986, and was the 1985 Ladies Bronze Medalist in Figure skating at the Winter Universiade (also referred to as World University Games) in Belluno, Italy.

Deborah began to make the transition from performance on ice to stage and screen as she completed her communications degree from Boston University, trained in the UK at the Oxford School of Drama, performed at the Edinburgh Festival before moving to Hollywood in 1989, and six months later she got her first big break on TV sitcom Living Dolls.
