To tell a little bit about myself I'm a Full-time time student at Everett Community College, I am striving to pursue a career in psychology. I enjoy playing basketball and listening to music. I have 4 siblings but only one attends EVCC with me. I want to study how and why we think the way we do. I am both an introvert and extrovert type of person.
I like wikipedia because it is fast and easy to find information when I am curious about something. Later in the future I could see myself writing about articles on different basketball topics, or famous musical artist who have made a positive impact on the community. My overall career goal is to help young adults overcome depression and anxiety without having to take medication.
Article evaluation
[edit]I've lived in Northeast San Antonio for most of my life and I enjoy the different historic landmarks that are around the city such as the San Antonio River Walk. As I was reading the article I realized that it didn't have to many errors that needed to be corrected although it needed a citation or two. I strongly believe that San Antonio River Walk is a major part of San Antonio and that the "history" section of the article was well written and had a good citations so that I could go and verify the different sources. Overall I believe the article needs to cite the (almos dam) so people can go to the source where it is more discussed about and I think we should continue to do write more about the history of the river walk and the different events that has occurred on the River Walk.

[edit]In the article I noticed that the almos dam was not cited and was curious on why when that is one of the many things that made the River Walk what it is today. If I was a tourist wanting to learn more about the River Walk and read about the almos dam and I wanted to find a fast and reliable source it would be a little difficult to go and find reliable information about it.
History
[edit]I believe this article did a we'll job on talking about the history of the River Walk and talking how different historic events happened on the River Walk, such as fiesta and when the San Antonio spurs won their championships and paraded down the river. I think we should continue to add the different historic events that has made the river walk and the memorable events that has happened.
Events
[edit]There are many things you can do on the River Walk and activities. I think this page should include those things. If a tourist would like to find out about the river walk and the things to do with their families, they should be able to go to the page and learn about it and also find things that they can do when they come.

[edit]Overall, I think this was a great article. It gave details on how the San Antonio River walk came about and some of the historic events that has shaped it. I encourage people to add to the this article so that when tourist come to visit our beautiful River walk they can learn and understand why the River Walk is so special to us. The article is well written and should continue to be great because the river walk is a huge part of San Antonio and I believe every person searching about should understand its importance.
