The City of Napata was founded in the 15th century BC upon Egyptian expansion, and then became the center of the Nubian Kingdom of Kush from 721 BC after Kashta and his successors Piye and Shabaka's policy of gaining control over the whole of Egypt, as they saw themselves as the true Egyptians since they saw themselves as true worshipers of the Egyptian gods [6]
